Last Stand Boer Goats is located in the irrigated "Magic Valley" just south of the town of Twin Falls in South Central Idaho. Sharon and I are both "retired" but busier than ever. In addition to our 25+ fullblood Boer herd, she and I have a Christian Counseling Ministry and are actively fighting drug addictions to Methamphetamine in our area through prevention education, intervention and rehabilitation. Sharon is a Doctor of Christian Counseling and is an ordained minister.

We will provide a quality breeding animal with a concentration of some of the foundation bloodlines of the South African Boers. Show wethers will be available too as only the top few bucks will be offered as breeders. Animals will be for sale all year round and will be listed as they become available.

Linebreeding as I have used first in breeding purebred Suffolk sheep, then 30 years of breeding Holstein and Red Holstein dairy cattle, and recently 10 years of breeding Fullblood Salers beef cattle has shown to intensify and enhance desirable form and function; at the same time some undesirable traits can show up, so selection must be severely and strictly done. Last Stand Boer Goats will provide a uniformity for the linebreeding customer and a strong outcross for others.
